    Since 2020, BC Pride Week has kicked off with a fun and educational Thursday evening trivia game show – LGBTQ&A.  Sponsored by New Story Books, 16 local celebrity contestants compete for prizes by answering sometimes serious, sometimes goofy questions about queer-related people, places, politics, history, and current events. 

    This years event will take place Thursday July 16th at the Miller Stone Building 77 Capital Ave NE, Battle Creek, MI 49017

  • Join the Pride Parade

    Walking in the Battle Creek Pride Parade is a vibrant and empowering experience, where people of all identities unite to celebrate love, equality, and inclusivity. Marching through the streets, we become part of a powerful movement, showing support for the 2SLGBTQ+ community standing up for acceptance and visibility. Surrounded by colorful floats, uplifting music, and the joy of shared pride, walking in the parade is not just an event—but a statement that love and unity triumph over hate.

    This years parade is Friday July 17th through downtown Battle Creek on Michigan Ave. beginning at 7:00 pm

  • Friday Night Drag Show

    What better way to end our amazing parade than with a free drag show downtown in front of the always welcoming Cafe Rica? The show was incredible in 2025 and the turn out was our best ever. You can see photos of the amazing time had by all by clicking below.

    This year’s Friday Night Drag takes place on July 17th immediately following the conclusion of the parade, in front of Cafe Rica, 62 E Michigan Ave, Battle Creek and is free to all.

  • Festival

    The Battle Creek Pride Festival is back, bigger and better than ever! This vibrant celebration will feature almost a hundred vendors offering unique goods, local crafts, and 2SLGBTQ+ pride merchandise. Food trucks will line the streets, serving up delicious bites for every taste. The festival will also showcase incredible drag performances, live music, and so much more, making it a day filled with joy, creativity, and community spirit. Whether you're there to shop, eat, or enjoy the entertainment, the Battle Creek Pride Festival promises to be an unforgettable celebration of love, acceptance, and pride for all!

    This years Festival kicks off at 11:00 Saturday July 18th, 2026 at the Leila Arboretum 928 W Michigan Ave, Battle Creek, and ends at 8pm followed by an Afterglow party on the grounds for those 18 and up. $10 admission.

    Our Pride Guide is given to every Festival attendee and includes a map of all vendors, an entertainment schedule and fun information about our history.   • Candlelight Vigil

    Each year we come together to show solidarity and support for the 2SLGBTQ+ community in a candlelight ceremony. We remember those we have lost and honor the memory of those in the 2SLGBTQ+ community who have died, especially those who were victims of violence or discrimination. Our speakers raise awareness of issues facing the 2SLGBTQ+ community, such as discrimination, violence, and the need for equality and acceptance.

    This years Vigil will take place Sunday July 19th at the Pride Resource Center, 104 Calhoun St. Battle Creek, MI 49017. With light snacks to follow.
